monday nights

I’d argue that Monday’s are the worst days of the week. You’ll have woken up, hit by the depression that’s oh so familiar to Monday mornings and been determined to stay in bed. However more often than I’d like to account for, you’ll have forced yourself out of bed and done what life requires you to do: get on with it. That means it is inevitable for you to make some bad decisions, fueled by a negative attitude and dark filter. We all know you could’ve eaten the salad in your bag rather than pig out at Macdonald’s. You took the bus instead of walking for 10 minutes? I can’t believe you didn’t give that old lady your seat on the tube.

“It’s ok. It’s Monday morning.”
